Elizabeth Benusis is principal cellist with the Black Hills Symphony.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree in strings at the University of Michigan. She holds a  Master's in Cello Performance from the New England Conservatory. She has also done  graduate work with George Neikrug at Boston University and Aldo Parisot at Yale.

 

      Liz maintains an active teaching studio of traditional and Suzuki students.  She performs solos and chamber music frequently throughout the Black Hills.

 

       Liz has received extensive Suzuki teacher training in over ten units with  master teachers including John Kendall, violin, Jean Leudke and Beverly Fest, piano, and Rick Mooney, Barbara Wampner, and Jean Dexter, cello.
